Dr. TODD BOYD (University of Southern California’s class of Cinema-Television): Many thanks for having me.

COX: Is it art imitating life or perhaps is it the–and I hate to appear therefore cynical about it–but is it an endeavor by the manufacturers of system tv among others to simply push the advertising envelope?

Dr. BOYD: at this time over time, there could be people inside our culture who will be uncomfortable with interracial relationships, but genuinely, you understand, there tend to be more controversial conditions that are higher on the list now than, you understand, that one issue.
